About The Table

The Table is not your typical faith community. It is a movement more than an institution...an organism more than and organization. Unlike most congregations, we do not seek to have a permanent building. We measure ourselves by a different ministry "report card," celebrating the number of persons we send into the community to serve rather than those we attract. We are more inclined to report the amount of money we give away in blessing to others than what we collect for ourselves. Rather than counting our members, we are more interested in improving marriages, placing backpacks upon the shoulders of area students, filling hungry stomachs, erecting handicap ramps for our neighbors and providing hope where it doesn't currently exist and deepening faith where it is in short supply.
